The objectives of our LEMI project are:
- Creation of a digital repository (i.e. linguistic corpus): 250 school readings (texts representative of Romanian and universal cultural heritage).
- Creation of the readability formula children’s literature texts in Romanian to be included in the digital tool for automatic evaluation of linguistic complexity and reading level of texts addressed to young school readers (grades 0-IV).
- Creation of 3 sets of materials with instructions for using the digital tool and integrating the results into teaching/learning activities. Description of sets: A – “Introduction to personalised reading. How to use the Reading Repository in the classroom”; B – “Introduction to personalised reading. How we use the Reading Repository at home”; C – “How do we use the Reading Text Assessment Tool”. Each set will contain written instructions and a short online tutorial.
- Involvement in the project activities (live or online) of a total of 300 members of the school/teaching community, educational associations and decision-makers from the beneficiaries.
